Zombie Pub Crawl
Don’t wait for the apocalypse to have a blast – this is your chance to raise the dead (and your glass)! 🍻 Join us for a night of the undead in downtown Athens, GA on March 1st. Purchasing tickets to this event will get you zombified by our experienced SFX artists (who will also be vending at HauntFest April Ghouls!), includes 5 bar stops with 5 killer specialty drinks (themed for our bloodthirsty crew), and includes 2 snacks! Enjoy additional spooky drink deals exclusive to HauntFest participants at some venues. Not into cocktails? No problem! Use your drink ticket to choose from a selection of beers at each venue instead. TICKETS CLOSE AT 11:00 PM ON FEBRUARY 28TH!!
Please arrive in ripped-up clothes! While the SFX artists will be assisting with prosthetics, they will not be providing costuming; however, this is super simple if you have a shirt you don't have an attachment to and a pair of scissors (although I prefer ripping). HauntFest has a limited supply of pre-prepared clothing as needed. Be prepared to get bloody! You are free to communicate with the artists if you prefer to avoid this.
You must be over 21 years of age to participate. You will be asked to provide a valid ID during online ticket purchase.
There will be some walking involved! Two of the stops are about 5 blocks apart (~10 mins each) while all other stops are 3 mins or less. Please ensure you are fit to make the two 10-min treks! We suggest wearing comfortable close-toed shoes.
The Plan
If you would like to take advantage of the zombifying, please arrive at Bar South (104 E Washington St, Athens, GA 30601) between 4:00-5:00 PM for your SFX makeup. This will also be a great opportunity to meet and greet the rest of the horde! If you prefer to do your own zombie makeup before arrival, please use the code "NOMAKEUP" upon ticket purchase for $5 off your ticket. When you use this code, you are opting out of any makeup provided by the SFX artist. If you prefer this option, please arrive at Bar South by 8:15 PM to check in for the first stop! A HauntFest employee will scan in your ticket upon arrival.
Please refer to the flyer below for the pub stops. The crawl itself is expected to be about ~ 3 hours (from 8:15-11:15 PM). We will end up back at Bar South at the end of the crawl, and then you will be free to haunt the streets of downtown Athens with your newfound bloody friends to enjoy the rest of the evening!
